The BEUMER Group celebrated its 90th anniversary not in a classic venue, but in its own factory halls in Beckum. The agency artecom transformed the industrial architecture into an immersive experiential world for 2,200 guests. The visual centerpiece was a 94-meter-wide LED wall (approx. 500 m²) with eight horizontally movable kinetic LED elements. Our task was the PIXERA direction (with 2 operators), the complete playback, and the real-time tracking of this massive canvas at a total resolution of over 65 million pixels.
To leave nothing to chance with this massive setup and over 4 terabytes of content, we moved the production phase to our in-house studio in Stahnsdorf in advance. There, we built the entire server setup as a digital twin and extensively tested all signals for live image, timecode control, and OSC inputs.
We acted as the central hub for timecode control. Kinetics, lighting (LLeyendecker), and the show director received the master timecode directly from our PIXERA direction. In addition, tailor-made dashboards in PIXERA Control provided gapless monitoring of all moving kinetic surfaces.
After the official part, we supplied the after-show area with live-adapted, dynamic video effects using our Resolume Stage Quad media server.
A perfect interplay of all trades (AVE, LLeyendecker, rangundnamen engineering) – absolutely synchronous and flawless.
Let's talk about how we can implement your vision with our tech and experience.
