We have been supporting the Deutschlandtag of the Junge Union – the national congress of Germany’s largest political youth organisation – since 2008. At the Deutschlandtag 2016, we were responsible for the complete video technology and content creation: from the very first graphic to the last live image. We delivered the project together with qunic Event Production GmbH – directly for the Junge Union Deutschlands.
Stage & Projection: The centrepiece of the stage was a triple panoramic soft-edge projection: three projectors blended into one seamless large-scale image. In the truss circle above the hall, a digital Twitter wall brought the online discussion live into the room.
Digital Presidium & Lectern: The presidium was equipped with 55-inch screens, controlled centrally via our media server – allowing content to be adjusted live at any time during the congress. A digital lectern with a built-in portrait display showed changing content and animations tailored to each speaker.
Digital Signage: For the state associations, we implemented iPad-based signage – flexible, consistent in design and updatable at any time.
Content Production: The entire content production came from a single source: graphics, video and animation – aligned with the event’s corporate design and optimised for every single output surface.
Media Control & Camera: During the Deutschlandtag we took care of the complete video technology, including media control, camera and vision engineering, ensuring a smooth flow across all programme items.
